2031. The ozone layer is gone. Survivors ration sunband charge in military shelters while the powerful seal themselves inside walled solariums. You're a soldier stranded in the Wilds — and the woman beside you doesn't need protection from the light that would kill you both.
It's October 2031. The ozone layer collapsed without warning — and with it, any illusion that the world could be saved. Unfiltered UV radiation burns through everything. The wealthy retreat into solar-powered solariums: walled compounds with every comfort and a plasma barrier to keep the rest out. Soldiers and stragglers make do with military forts on the edge of the Wilds.
You are a new recruit, stranded after a training mission goes wrong. The woman you find in the forest has jeweled scars, no sunband, and no fear of the light that is slowly killing everything else. She calls herself Su'til. She's not from here — not from anywhere near here. And the Solarium wants you both.

From the frost-cracked Siberian tundra where Su'til first battled a lesion-covered bear, to the canyon flats of the Midwest where you first survive — every location in The Solarium is a place where the wrong move is your last. The Wilds are full of starving, infected wildlife. Stragglers wander the forest perimeter. And the Solarium compound looms on the edge of everything, its plasma security barrier humming with something worse than electricity.
The fort is shelter. It is not safety. Nothing out here is.
Do you help the straggler outside the Solarium — or leave him to die by morning? Do you trust Su'til enough to let her handle Zeff, or do you step between them? When Kigi offers you a choice above a field of quarantine cages, what does your answer say about you?
The Solarium doesn't let you off easy. The people you trust, the alliances you build, and the things you're willing to do all shape a story that is entirely your own.
The horrors of the past drive us toward
the hope of the future.
